New Release Quick Reviews- How Forever Feels & Everything I Left Unsaid

These 2 books came out this week and they’re both lovely!!!

First, a friends first romance: How Forever Feels by Laura Drewry

how forever feels

Jack and Maya used to be friends. Until Maya and Jack’s best friend get a divorce…. Jack basically disappears from her life after that.

Maya is hurt by the divorce but she doesn’t let that get in the way of being friendly with Jack when they meet again. Jack is in town for a short time for work.

As they start to learn what happened between them all those years ago and learn things they didn’t know about each other, they start to wonder if being together is something that is even possible for them.

Jack is super sweet. Maybe too sweet. He feels he owes Will’s (the ex) family everything and lets that get in the way of his feelings for Maya. He’s used to not getting what he wants doesn’t always feel like he deserves to be happy. They take advantage of him and he takes it because he feels like this is what he deserves.

Maya is strong and independent and the perfect heroine. I absolutely LOVE her!!!

I love seeing their relationship bloom. They both deserve more than what they’ve gotten so far and definitely find it in each other.

“It was Snip and he liked the way she screwed him up. He liked the way those blue eyes looked at him with wonder, like she was honestly interested in whatever he said, and he really liked the way one smile from her sent everything inside him into a complete riot

Also: I absolutely LOVE Maya’s friend group. Those girls are 100% there for her.

The second is a mystery ride of a romance. Also known as “The Phone Sex Book” by the author [via goodreads].

Everything I Left Unsaid by M. O’Keefe

everything i leftAnnie has had a hard but very sheltered life. She’s never been out on her on our truly been allowed to experience the life of a regular young person, one day she finally has enough and runs away. She settles in a trailer park, where at least she knows she won’t be around her husband.

That’s when the phone rings and she gets her first taste of Dylan. Dylan calls the cell phone in the trailer without knowing that Annie is a new tenant there…

Annie sees Dylan as an opportunity to be someone else. They both are hiding so much that they don’t hesitate in starting this relationship of sorts. They are both aware that they won’t see each other and are free to keep their masks and be whoever they want to be with each other.

First of all… who knew phone sex could be this hot? I mean, I’ve never given the idea much thought, but this book has certainly got me thinking I should try it at some point in my life.

Once their circumstances take a turn and they’re forced to face each other, will they be able to open up to each other and face their true selves?

Truthfully, he would break every rule he had, every promise he’d ever made, and go to all the trouble in the world for this girl and she had no idea. None.

I loved the twists and turns this book takes ❤

and then it’s just over….

I need more!

Can’t wait for the second part!! [Be warned this ends in a cliffhanger, but the second part comes out in November so it’s not a terrible wait.]
